How to make your post to appear right here?
If you want to list your posts here, you should go to you theme's options (Appereance => Theme Options) and put the category's id. Please note that if the category doesn't consist any posts, you'll be still seeing sample posts.
How to assign a picture to a featured post?
Select a post & click edit through your admin panel. Scroll down to the section named "Custom fields" then create a field named "picture" and the value should contain a path where you stored a picture. You may also create a custom field named "url" just in case you want to link your post elsewhere.

「2011香港SGI文化節」 吉祥物設計大賽
2009年12月24日活動簡介：文化節乃創價學會一大盛事，為了讓各方會友時常記住盛事即將舉行，我們需要一頭代表文化節的小生靈，隨時出現於宣傳品及會館的每個角落。現誠徵各位會友的腦汁，為我們設計一個能象徵文化節主題的吉祥物，將我們對文化節的熱情、期望、歡喜、感激，幻化成色彩與線條，展現給每一位文化節的參與者和外來嘉賓。

11月28日黃昏，香港文化會館常樂禮堂，以顏世芳文化節委員長為中心，舉行以「飛躍」為主題的「2011中國．香港文化節」部門以上負責人出發式。郭心心女子部長介紹了文化節的具體目標。
整體方面：
一、凝聚展現50週年之人才力量，向著香港廣布飛躍發展啟航；
二、青年部結集總參與數2011名；
三、唱題目標數達至50億遍。參加者方面：以勝利姿勢報答池田師匠。
一、折伏一位新入信者；
二、祈求個人目標達成；

文化節宣傳大使出發式
2009年12月01日11月27日晚，為推進「2011中國．香港文化節」大成功，「文化節宣傳大使」率先於東區文化會館新世紀大禮堂舉行出發式。 柳谷聖子本部女子部長講述了宣傳大使的意義及使命，指出一個人的力量雖然微小，團結起來的力量則無限；期望大家全情投入，發揮異體同心精神，把喜悅傳給香港每一位會友。 歷屆文化節精華回顧後，張紋龍本部副男子部長、傅衛東本部男子部長發表宣傳大使備忘錄，講解了本部、支部宣傳大使的任務、訓練課程，在各種會議上發放訊息的細節等，王智豪、吳嘉祺本部男子部長主持答問，發表文化節吉祥物設計大賽招募計劃後，朱鄭杏寶香港副婦人部長鼓勵，宣傳大使負有最大使命，要有誠摯的祈求和團結的心，這是一切行事成功的要諦，全情投入，多唱題，把文化節的喜悅擴展到香港的每一個角落。
